MapeWall GPR  is a general purpose render for internal and external use. A grey powder basecoat render for masonry and blockwork, composed of cement, selected aggregates and special synthetic resins, which when mixed with water provides a render that is easy to apply on suitably prepared masonry substrates. This product can be applied by hand or with a rendering spray machine.

Mapetherm Net is great for reinforcing renders as a secondary layer. On top of this you can then add the Silancolor Render System.

Mapewall GPR is ideal for use on brickwork or masonry surfaces.

MapeWall GPR must never be used on gypsum or gypsum-based surfaces.

Supplied in 25 kg bags.

MapeWall GPR is suitable for rendering and levelling internal and external masonry substrates, in thicknesses up to 15 mm per layer, up to a overall maximum thickness of 40 mm. It enables surfaces to be finished in one of the products from the MAPEI range of coatings.

Some application examples include:
• Smoothing walls.
• Dubbing out mortar.
• Render only with sponge finish.
• Render only with silicone and mineral finishes.

Preparing the substrate
The substrate must be compact, free of dust, oil, grease and paints. If in doubt please contact MAPEI Technical Services dept. It can be applied to damp substrates; however the drying time will be extended. Highly absorbent or poorly keyed surfaces must be dampened down or a suitable primer applied.

Preparing the mix
MapeWall should be mixed with clean water and stirred until smooth using a mechanical paddle mixer. It’s suitable for application with rendering spray machines.
One 25 kg bag  should be mixed with between 5.0 and 5.5 litres of clean potable water and the mixed product remains usable for 1 to 3 hours.

Applying the mix
Apply by trowel or machine. Uneven substrates may require a first coat to build out the thickness required. Level off with a straight edge or darby. The system can be reinforced with MAPEI Mapetherm Net to help prevent cracking. When Mapetherm Net is applied, it must be embedded in the top third of wet Mapewall GPR then level off with a straight edge or darby. It is unadvisable to apply in direct sunlight or when the temperature is below +5°C and falling or above +30°C. The render can be finished with products from the MAPEI range, allow sufficient drying time before application. This will be dependent upon relative humidity at the time of application.
