Sealoflex Sanitary HM is a high modulus silicone sealant and adhesive with an acetoxy cure, offering remarkable tooling capabilities. Sealoflex Sanitary HM is ideal for the following applications:
• Sealing around bathtubs, sinks, and shower trays.
• Ideal for a wide range of sanitary applications.
• Perfect for general sealing and caulking applications.
• Effective for sealing between glass surfaces.
• Sealing between different materials, including uPVC, aluminum, composite, and timber frames into masonry, brick, and plaster walls.
• Useful in industrial sealing and bonding projects.
• Waterproofing rimless sinks.
• General weatherproofing and draft-proofing applications.
APPLICATION
Properties
Application temperature range: Between +5°C and +40°C
Shelf life: 12 months when stored in cool, dry conditions away from direct sunlight.
Instructions
Surface Preparation: Ensure that all surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, dry, and free from frost, grease, and loose materials. Apply the product using an applicator gun, ensuring good contact with the surfaces. In cases where an exceptionally neat finish is desired, employ masking tape to cover the joint’s face edges and remove it immediately after tooling is completed.
Tooling: It’s important to tool the sealant immediately after application, within the working time specified for the product.
LIMITATIONS
• Not suitable for structural glazing purposes.
• Do not use on highly porous stone or metal surfaces that may corrode.
• Not Suitable for constructing aquariums or in permanently submerged areas.
• Do not use on bitumen/asphalt substrates or those prone to oil, plasticizer, and solvent bleed.
• Sealoflex Sanitary HM cannot be painted.
• Not suitable for securing IGUs or laminated glass.
