Soudal Contact Adhesive Spray is a ready to use universal contact adhesive spray suitable for a wide range of substrates and surfaces.

Substrates
Nature: The to be bonded materials should be flat and well fitting as well as clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
Surface preparation: No pre-treatment required. Rough grinding of smooth surfaces improve the adhesion. A preliminary adhesion test on every surface is recommended. Contact Adhesive Spray can be applied to most surfaces, except PE, PP, PTFE.

Soudal Contact Adhesive Spray is suitable for the bonding of paper, cardboard, photographs, posters, felt, textiles, cork, leather etc. to each other or to timber, concrete, glass and metals.
APPLICATION
Application method: For a PERMANENT BOND : Shake can well before use. When processing keep the aerosol can at all times upright and fully press the nozzle. Spray at a distance of ca. 5 à 10 cm of the object. Apply the adhesive evenly to both to be bonded surfaces. Spray the lanes over the entire material, preferably having a halfway overlap of the previous lane in order to have covered the whole surface with 2 layers. Two light coats (with overlap) give better results than one thick
coat. Wait at least 10 minutes (at 23°C and 50% R.H.) and join the two parts together. Then press firmly together.
When making connections, the strength and not the duration of the compression will determine the ultimate strength. After spraying, hold the can upside down and press the spray head until only propellant and no more product comes out to prevent clogging up of the spray can.
For a TEMPORARY/CORRECTABLE bond Shake can well before use. When processing keep the aerosol can at all times upright and fully press the nozzle. Apply adhesive only on the adhering surface, not on the surface to be adhered too. Spray at a distance of ca. 5 à 10 cm of the object. Apply the adhesive evenly to the surface. Spray the lanes over the entire material, preferably having a halfway overlap of the previous lane in order to have covered the whole surface with 2 layers. Wait at least 20 minutes (at 23°C and 50% R.H.) and join the two parts together. LIMITATIONS
– Do not use in applications where continuous water immersion is possible.
– Not suitable for vinyl or other materials with a high content of plasticizers.
