Everbuild Hybriflex 480 is a one part high modulus building sealant based on hybrid polymer technology.
Advantages
– Will adhere to damp surfaces
– May be used on floor joints that are subject to higher amounts of (after suitable cure period) on joints less than 15mm wide

APPLICATION
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be cleaned and be free from dust, grease and frost before using Hybriflex 480. Surfaces may be damp but must not have any standing water. For most substrates, priming is not required (except when the area is intermittently immersed).
APPLICATION METHOD / TOOLS
Primer not normally necessary. If indicated by adhesion test use primer NP2.
Mortar: Prime with Sikaflex Primer 3-N.
LIMITATIONS
– Can not be used on substrates that bleed oils or plasticizers.
– Can not be used in conjunction with bitumen or asphalt.
– Do not use in aquaria or as a mirror adhesive.
– Test that all substrates and paint systems are compatible prior to full-scale use. May increase the drying time of paints.
– Do not use on joints that are to be continually immersed.
– Do not use on Polypropylene or Teflon.
– Use against natural stone: this product contains plasticizers which may cause some staining. Always check compatibility before use. If in doubt; Use Sika Primer 3N.
– Do not use for bedding double glazed units – use SILICONE 996 / 825.
– Yellowing can occur in predominantly dark conditions.
